Part-time Board Member

Joanne Archibald is a graduate of the University of Calgary, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Council of Canadian Administrative Tribunals. She is also a registered practitioner in dispute resolution with the Canadian International Institute of Applied Negotiation.

Ms. Archibald is currently a member of the Alberta Human Rights Commission and was a full-time member of the Public Service Staffing Tribunal from 2010 to 2015. Prior to this, she was an Appeal Board Chairperson for the Public Service Commission of Canada. She has also served as a mediator with both the federal public service and the Provincial Court of Alberta.

Ms. Archibald was appointed a part-time member of the Board on July 9, 2019.
