Marie-Claire Perrault

Marie-Claire first worked for fifteen years as a translator and interpreter before starting her law degree. After graduating from the University of Ottawa (both common law and civil law degrees) in 2003, she articled at the Federal Court as a law clerk. She worked as senior legal counsel at the Competition Tribunal, then legal counsel at the Public Service Labour Relations Board. From 2011 to 2015, she was senior legal counsel at the Federal Court of Appeal. She lectured at the University of Ottawa’s Civil Law Faculty in administrative law as well as labour and employment law from 2011 to 2013. She was a full-time Board member at the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board from July 2015 to April 2021. On April 30, 2021, she was appointed Vice-Chairperson.
