Leslie Reaume

Leslie Reaume is a labour arbitrator, mediator and a former Vice-chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. In addition to her role as a part-time member with the FPSLREB, she is an external adjudicator with the Canada Industrial Relations Board, and a part-time adjudicator with the Yukon Public Service Labour Relations Board and the Yukon Teachers Labour Relations Board.

Ms. Reaume’s work as an arbitrator and mediator is informed by her extensive litigation experience in employment, human rights, administrative and Constitutional law. She has appeared before tribunals and courts at every level including the Supreme Court of Canada. She has also mediated discrimination and pay equity disputes in the federal public sector.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario Law School, Ms. Reaume was called to the bar in Ontario in 1997 and holds an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School in alternative dispute resolution. She has also written on developments in the law and dispute resolution in the human rights and labour contexts. Ms. Reaume is a member of the Ontario Labour-Management Arbitrators’ Association.
